How does the central government process your personal information?
For our services we will need your personal details, such as your name, e-mail or postal address. The request form will state which details will be used by the government, and for what purpose.
The government will only use your personal data for the purpose for which you submitted it. Did you enter your name and address because you wanted to receive a brochure? Then the government will only use this information to send you that particular brochure, not to send you other brochures.
Data used for investigation
The government may use personal data to investigate someone. For example, if someone uses the site to carry out a criminal offence or make criminal statements.
Storage of personal data
The central government stores personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which you submitted it. It will then be destroyed.
